We open as Shane Daniels (Steven Seagal) stands before a judge in jail house blues. He listens as the judge tells him that he has the Arizona state’s apology for spending the last fifteen years incarcerated for a violent murder he didn’t commit. That DNA evidence has proven his innocence beyond a shadow of a doubt. The Judge asks if there is anything he wants to say. A visibly angry Shane asks them if they can give him his life back.

Within hours of being released to the streets, Shane finds himself the intended victim of a street robbery. Using a combination of brutal boxing and martial arts skills, Shane takes out his two attackers. Unable to cope in the noisy city Shane takes to the road. Cut to a rest stop along a lonely stretch of highway. It’s early evening and there are no other cars in the lot with the exception of Shane who sits atop the hood of his car taking long pulls from the half empty whisky bottle. That’s when he witnesses a state trooper pulling over a car containing two Mexican nationals. When the Mexican nationals kill the state trooper and try to kill a few witnesses, Shane is forced to intervene. In a brutal fight he kills one of the attackers and sends the other running off into the desert.

When Shane checks on the dead cop he hears noise coming from the trunk of the Mexican national’s car. Inside he finds an unconscious girl and a duffel bag full of cash. Fearing that the cops will implicate him in the death of the trooper and knowing that the Mexican national will return with back-up, Shane takes the girl, the cash and one lone survivor into the nearest small town.

The teen Russian boy he saved is dropped off and Shane takes the now conscious girl to a motel. She begs him not to turn her over to the cops or the Mexicans. What Shane learns is she was part of an illegal diamond sale that went wrong. She was taken hostage and her father was supposed to pay a ransom to the Mexican mafia. If the local police or the Mexicans get her she will be used as ransom and then probably killed. The girl explains hat the town they are in is under the control of the Mexican mafia. That the two man police department is actually run by them. She tells Shane that he can keep the cash if he gets her to safety.

In an action packed thrill ride, Shane must fight his way through the town and take the girl to safety. He’ll have to battle the local corrupt cops as well as the Mexican mafia who won’t rest until he and the girl are dead. As they make their way through the town, the pair must face the truth about those they can trust, as well as their own inner strengths, as they fight their way to Santa Fe, using cunning and brutal force to run a gauntlet of dozens of Mexican Mafia armed with high-powered weaponry.

In a final showdown, Shane finds unexpected help from the boy he saved back at the rest stop. Shane utilizes the help of the boy’s father who is a member of the Russian mob to decimate those who stand between him and the freedom he now cherishes.

Synopsis: Shane Daniels (Steven Seagal) vient de passer 15 années en prison pour un crime qu'il n'a pas commis. Juste après sa libération il est témoin d'une transaction mafieuse qui dégénère. Des membres d'un gang Mexicain et des policiers sont tués, ne laissant qu'une fille apeurée et un sac plein d'argent. Shane va devoir combattre au sein d'une ville corrompue, tout en protégeant la jeune fille.

Le Scenar me fait un peu penser a Urban Justice , en tout cas en général les films de Seagal se deroulant au coeur des gangs sont pour moi toujours reussis et lui vont a merveille

Au niveau des sources, bah j'ai cherché un peu partout sur internet....

Sur www.imdb.com, ils disent que le film est en pré-production, donc pas encore tourné.

Ok, merci l'ami seagale a dit que le film se tournerait en mars j'avai pas lu.

Dans le casting on peut voir Byron Mann qui a joué dans Belly Of The Beast.

Merci, j'avai peur que le film soit retitré dangerous to kill...Je me demande pourquoi ces films finissent toujours par être retitrés?

Effectivement ça pète !!!

Ah ouais! Ca donne carrément envie cette BA! L'image fait vraiment soignée je trouve, pas du tout DTV.

ho ça pete le genre de film avec de l action que j aime a quand la sortie

Bon bein moi je vais peut etre etonne tout le monde, mais je suis pas plus emballe que ca!

Je m explique, ok d apres les premieres images ca semble du meme bois que "Le Prix du Sang", ok rien que la bande annonce donne plus qu un "Black Dawn" ou autre "Shadow Man"... mais j ai le sentiment de voir, de plus en plus, la meme chose!

1) Seagal assis avec le personnage feminin pour un long dialogue.
2) Seagal qui fait tout peter avec une telecommande en tournant le dos a l explosion, (j ai pas vu le film, mais je parie que c est la sequence finale)
3) Fussilade + combat dans une sorte d usine ou de remise...

Et ce qui me gene le plus c est qu apres les efforts de la star, niveau implication, pour "Urban Justice" et "Le Prix du Sang" la bande annonce, rien qu elle, indique deja que la doublure n a pas fait que du 35h sur le tournage!



Encore une fois je suis content que la qualite soit de nouveau au rendez vous mais il me semble que le "deja vu" s installe de pluis en plus... Et l idee de voir Seagal dans une production comme "Machete"... fait que bon ce nouveau Dtv... Oui mais sans plus!

rien à rajouter ... Comme d'habitude, on dirait un copié collé de ses derniers films ...

Au final, que la qualité soit là ou pas ( même si pour moi, ça dépasse jamais le "bof" ), ce qui m'indigeste le plus, c'est ce manque de renouvellement et de nouevauté à proposer ... On me dirait que c'est Ruslan 2 ou Black Dawn 3, je ne verrai pas de différence ...

Quant à la doublue, baaaa, oui, faut s'y faire, c'est comme ça dorénavant !
Je me marre si Seagal a réussi à imposer sa doublure sur "Machette"
